Cortlandt Community Rowing Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group formed to develop and promote the sport of rowing, or crew. The CCRA service area includes Cortlandt and surrounding communities; Ossining, Peekskill, Yorktown, Briarcliff, Putnam. We row out of Verplanck, in the Town of Cortlandt, on both Lake Meahagh and the Hudson River.
Rowing is a great sport that can utilize our access to the beautiful Hudson River; build community; offer an alternative to sports that expose participants to concussive injury; and allows participants to gain fitness and compete at a high level well into their mature years.
