Rowing clubs across the US have successfully instituted recovery programs for breast cancer survivors.
Inspired by other clubs’ documented positive findings, CCRA believes that rowing programs increase physical exercise—a known factor in cancer survivorship and preventing recurrence.
Rowing is an excellent form of exercise for women and men of any age. It engages your entire body, from legs to arms, providing a comprehensive workout.
Unlike high-impact sports like running, rowing is gentle on joints, making it ideal for survivors. Start on land, move to water.
Join us at the beginning of one of the four CCRA rowing ‘seasons’ (spring, summer, fall, winter).
Your first ‘trial’ rowing season (approximately 3 months long) is complimentary, and includes all programming and first year US Rowing membership fee.

Rowing isn’t just a sport; it’s a powerful tool for rebuilding strength, finding hope, and connecting with a supportive community. We witness the positive impact on physical and mental well-being every day, and that’s why we’re passionate about sharing it with you. This is more than exercise, it’s a journey towards a healthier you, together.
