Why Do Survivors Choose Rowing?

Proven
Benefits

Rowing clubs across the US have successfully instituted recovery programs for breast cancer survivors.

Positive
Findings

Inspired by other clubs’ documented positive findings, CCRA believes that rowing programs increase physical exercise—a known factor in cancer survivorship and preventing recurrence.

Full-Body
Workout

Rowing is an excellent form of exercise for women and men of any age. It engages your entire body, from legs to arms, providing a comprehensive workout.

Low
Impact

Unlike high-impact sports like running, rowing is gentle on joints, making it ideal for survivors. Start on land, move to water.

Program Schedule and Features
